School History

It began some years ago in 1968, when the school strived to overcome numerous challenges and obstacles and has continued its operation until today.

1968 marked the beginning of a long journey in the establishment of Freda Radin School, formerly known as Taman Asohan Kanak Kanak Dayang Freda.

Dyg Freda Binti Amir Basha @ Abdullah was the founder and principal, working alongside her beloved mother, Dyg Hapsah Abdullah Cook. Inspired by the hardship of raising her own five children, Dyg Freda understood the struggles mothers—especially working mothers—faced during that time.

She began offering nursery services to care for the children of neighbors and friends, which eventually evolved into a huge success and the foundation of what is now Freda Radin School.

Kindergarten Programme

Kindergarten Programme (Ages 3 and up)

Our Kindergarten Programme nurtures young learners through a balanced mix of play-based and structured learning. Following the SPN21 national curriculum, we introduce foundational subjects in an engaging and age-appropriate environment.

  • Arabic Language from Playgroup onward
  • Daily routines include morning do’a, brushing teeth, bathing, and structured play & learn sessions
  • Do’a before and after meals, learning, and hygiene practices
  • Weekly Muqaddam sessions for spiritual development
  • Nap time, balanced meals, and social interaction

Primary Programme

Primary School Programme (Year 1 to Year 6)

Our Primary Programme aims to develop well-rounded students who excel academically and spiritually. Using the SPN21 curriculum, we prepare students for national assessments and instill strong Islamic morals and lifelong learning habits.

  • 100% pass rate in PSR (Primary School Assessment) since 2002
  • Daily light exercises and physical education
  • Arabic taught up to Year 6
  • Thursday: Muqaddam (Lower Primary), Surah Ya'asin (Upper Primary)
  • Qualified and experienced teachers with high recruitment standards
